Want to hear is some really cool news. Read it slowly, because at first I thought it said "The Versatile Booger". I was like, "Hmmm, is this a good thing?" Seriously, I was awarded The Versatile Blogger Award! This award was sent to me by my fellow blogger, author friend, Nickie Storey Bailey, whose blog can be found here: nicolestorey.wordpress.com. Thank you for this award, I promise not to let it go to my head!
According to the rules, in order to receive this special award, I must:
1 – Thank the person who gave it to me and link back to their blog.
2 – Share seven things about myself.
3 – Pass this award on to 5 other recently discovered blogs and inform them of the honor.
So here are seven things about me:
1. I dvr everything! The last thing I watched on tv while it was actually on was Super
Bowl XLIV (Geaux Saints)!
2. I have had 100 pgs of a psychological suspense thriller written on my computer for over 7 years.
3. I can't stand to wash dishes and have been known to let them soak for days or throw them away ( I know, I am bad)!
4. I am an undercover princess ninja warrior.
5. I make up songs and like to sing at the top of my lungs.
6. My friends say I am addicted to Mug Rootbeer.
7. I wish I could draw because I have beautiful pictures in my head but unfortunately they do not translate onto paper.
I would like to send The Versatile Blogger Award to the following people (alphabetical order):
Desiree Rask: http://www.butterflyreaders.com
Ella Johnson: http://www.mymcbooks.wordpress.com
Karen Pokras Toz: http://www.kptoz.blogspot.com
Read Aloud Dad: http://www.readalouddad.com/
Vivian Kirkfield: http://viviankirkfield.wordpress.com/
Wow! Thanks Donalisa, thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteYou sooo deserve it, Ella. Your blog helps so many find books for their children that they would not know about. You also brighten children's lives with the books that you donate daily!
ReplyDeleteHi Donalisa!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I am really honored that you remembered me... (by the way does this award also come with a $100 million prize?) ;-)
I always had the feeling that you were a ninja warrior. Do you know how I knew? Read here:

Here is to your prize (I'm lifting a Mug Rootbeer) ... cheers!
Read Aloud Dad
Read Aloud Dad, you are so welcome! Don't you dare drink my Mug rootbeer! I am on my way to get it! It slipped my mind that I was also a read aloud ninja! Hehehe...I am a read aloud princess warrior ninja. I am a quadruple threat. You'd better watch out or I will karate chop you as I read from a book!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Donalisa!! I hear ya about the dishes thing. My motto is "everything goes in the dishwasher" I don't care what the label says!
ReplyDeleteDonalisa thank you so much for including me. It means a lot coming from you :) I also love to dvr everything. I never watch anything live anymore, I love fast forwarding the commercials.
ReplyDeleteHey Karen and Desiree, you ladies are very welcome. I also love the dishwasher but my hubby thinks I'm basically supposed to wash the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher!
ReplyDeleteDesiree, of course you are included. I even dvr my New Orleans Saints games so I can skip commercials and the annoying sports announcers!
Thank you so much, Donalisa. I've been stepping back from the overwhelming emails and twitter and....
ReplyDeleteSomehow, I need to organize my time (and space) better so that I'm not staying up till 2am, just trying to catch up.
Congrats again on your award...I'll email you the link to that blog radio show...and the info...they'd love to interview you...they do have a nominal charge of $75...so you'd have to decide if it was worth it to you. :)
