About Me

Hi, I am Donalisa! I LOVE to read! I LOVE turning others onto the joy of reading. I am a mother of two angel girls and the most adorable boy. I have a Masters in Social Work. I am a licensed clinical social worker and I work as a family and children's therapist. I have worked in behavioral health with children and adolescents for over 15 years.   My first published book, The Day No One Played Together, won the Mom's Choice Silver  & Readers Favorite Award! Anything else you want to know just ask!

As an author, I hope my books empower those who read them to make positive and healthy choices. As a therapist I want to help children increase their overall well-being and resolve any mental and emotional disorders.
